When I was young I tried to be an actor (my dream job at the time) and applied to be an extra in Groundhogs Day but never got a call back, however I did get a call back to audition for a role in The Fugitive (the agent with the ponytail that dies in US Marshalls). After mentioning I was still in high school, they told me they'd get back to me, but never did. Later in life while I had my older son living with me, we tried together and never got anything, but I did find a role in an independent film, a model shoot for an ad that never went to print, and another shoot as a background extra (background blur) in a Sprint/Nextel ad. While trying to make a break in acting I had to get professional pictures taken and paid a hefty price for good headshots that I went out to Chicago to get. But being a single father raising my older son on my own, I had to stick to my full-time job and school. Eventually I got custody of both of my boys, and while raising them at home I got my Bachelor's degree concentrating in management, but being a manager was great for a few years until it became just a babysitting job. After I moved to Arizona I got new headshots and tried acting again, but here ended up being a dead market.

Not long after moving to Arizona my mother had a stroke, and multiple since, and couldn't live on her own anymore, so I stayed to care for her because I'm her only family left and I couldn't abandon her. Being surrounded by mountains I fell in love with the landscape right away, so I get out to hike and explore when I can. I'd take pictures of the landscapes to show my mom so she could see the beauty that I saw since she couldn't go out, plus post them for friends and my boys to see as well. A few I got printed up onto canvas and metal which turned out pretty nice looking, so I decided to get better equipment in 2020 and turn it into a business so I could share the beauty of nature with others.
